INTERACT Incubator

We believe a diverse collective of experts, working together to collaboratively identify opportunities for research progress in a trusted forum, can catalyze critical infrastructure to advance equity in STEM education.

INTERACT is short for INfrasTructure for lEarning ReseArCh on equiTy.  The INTERACT incubator brings together the nation’s leading experimental social psychologists who study social cues and equity in STEM, experimental cognitive psychologists who study learning in authentic classroom settings, as well as education stakeholders and technologists who pioneer digital infrastructure in education. The core activities of the incubator are to conduct a needs assessment for infrastructure aimed at closing equity gaps in STEM education fields, and then to outline the ideal infrastructure for addressing these needs.
